The Grayling Regional Chamber of Commerce is organizing a Business After Hours sponsored by Blarney Stone Broadcasting and Feeny Ford this Thursday. It is being held at Blarney Stone Broadcasting on Old Lake Road from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. There will be live entertainment, karaoke, heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, networking, and more! The cost is $5 for chamber members and $10 for non-members. As a reminder, our new member Jeff Pahssen is associated with Blarney Stone Broadcasting.
Proposed members Katie Olson and Don Sommerfeld have been approved for membership by the membership committee and the Board. If no members object to either of them joining, they will be inducted on May 27th, provided they are available to attend on that date.
In case you haven’t heard, Kodiak Group is sponsoring a community movie night at the Rialto featuring “The Princess Bride” on May 23rd at 7:30. This also coincides with the Rialto's 100th anniversary celebration. I’ve been informed that tickets are available online (for free) and are potentially going fast. If you are planning on attending, you may want to get your tickets now. Go to http://www.rialtofilmclub.com/ and click on the link on the left-hand side of the page.
Speakers Needed!
George Stancil does a great job of tracking down guest speakers for our meetings, but he's only one man. If you know of anyone who might be willing to speak to the club please let George know!
